Mansfield University Athletic Hall of Fame
Brisiel was a four-year letterwinner for the men's basketball team from 1963-66. Under the direction of head coach Bill Clark, two of those teams (1963-64, 1964-65) won the NAIA District 19 Championship and advanced to the NAIA National Championship Tournament. Brisiel was also a starter on the 1963-64 PSAC Championship team. Brisiel scored 721 points over his last two seasons averaging 17.2 points per game over that span. The 1963-64 team won two games at the NAIA Championship in Kansas City and Brisiel earned NAIA All-America in 1964-65 as well as All-PSAC honors in 1965-66 when he finished eighth in the conference in scoring.
