Holland was a four-year starter at linebacker from 2000-2003 and is the only four-time 1st Team All-PSAC selection in school history. Holland was twice named the NCAA Division II Linebacker of the Year and was a two-time consensus All-American selection. In 2003, Holland finished fourth in overall voting for the Harlon Hill Trophy, the NCAA Division II equivalent of the Heisman Trophy. He also earned Academic All-American honors that season.
