Mansfield University Athletic Hall of Fame
A four-year starter in both basketball and softball, Beth Guiliani is considered one of the best all-around female athletes in school history.
A team caption for both sports during her senior season, Guiliani was named to 1st team All-PSAC East honors after leading the team in scoring averaging 14.5 points per game and was named PSAC East Player of the Week the final week of the season after scoring 34 points against Millersville and 25 points in a win over Kutztown.
Less than two weeks after her final basketball game, Guiliani stared at shortstop in the first softball game of the season.
Guiliani led the team to a spot in the ECAC Softball Championship game that year by hitting a team best .451, which was second best in the PSAC. She also led the team in hits (55), runs (37), Slugging percentage (.689), and triples (5).
A standout since the first day she stepped on campus, Guiliani was named the PSAC East Rookie of the Year in basketball her freshman season while also earning All-PSAC East second team honors.
Mansfield appeared in the ECAC Championship three times during her softball career winning the title twice.
In 1994, Guiliani was named the Mansfield University Winter Athlete of the Year.
