Di Biaso was the first basketball player to score 1,000 career points for the Mountaineers in the same season he tallied 1,000 career rebounds. After six years of coaching high school basketball in Beacon, NY, Di Biaso joined his former coach at the University of Virginia as an assistant coach for three seasons. From there he served as an assistant under Diger Phelps at Notre Dame before spending seven years as head coach at Stanford University.
