Mansfield University Athletic Hall of Fame
Richard started all 4 seasons playing both defensive and offensive tackle to MU football and served as captain in 1934 which finished 3-4-1. Wilson played in every game and played the entire game in all but 4 games. 1932 finished with a record of 4-1-1 and were State Teachers College Champions where he blocked 2 punts in 2 different games (Dickinson and East Stroudsburg) resulting in scores which won the games. Richard was #3 man on the tennis team in 1935. He received 5 varsity letters; 4 for football and 1 for tennis. Wilson also served as assistant football coach in 1953 and 1954.
