Mansfield University Athletic Hall of Fame
Manwaring played two seasons with the Mountaineers in 2002 and 2003 and became one of the most prolific hitters in program history.Â
In 2002, he put together one of the most impressive offensive performances in school history, hitting a then Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) record 23 home runs and 79 RBIs, with both remaining as Mansfield season records to this day. He led the NCAA in those categories and Mansfield won the PSAC East and advanced to the NCAA Regional Championships. Â
Manwaring earned First Team All-PSAC, All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), First Team All-American honors and was named the 2002 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) North Atlantic Regional Player of the Year in his career at Mansfield. Â Â
