Mansfield University Athletic Hall of Fame
Walbridge, who was inducted into the Legends category, was the star running back for the Mountaineers during the 1892 and 1893 seasons. He played in the world's first night football game at Smythe Park. After graduation, Walbridge accepted a scholarship to Lafayette where he played for three seasons and was the captain of the 1896 team that won the first of three National Championships for the Leopards. He was selected a Walter Camp All-American in 1896.
