Jim Logan was a two-year sport standout for the Mountaineers from 1963-66 winning an unprecedented three PSAC wrestling weight-class championships and twice being named to 1st Team All-PSAC honors in football.

Logan was the PSAC state champion in the unlimited division each year from 1963 to 1966 and was also a star on the football field as well at tackle.

After graduating in 1967, Logan signed a free agent contract with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League.
