Mansfield University Athletic Hall of Fame
Tuitt was a four-year starter as center for the MU basketball team in 1981 through 1984. He won a varsity letter during each season (4); 1981, 1982, 1983, and 1984. Tuitt presently holds the field goal percentage record and the team record of 26-6 at Mansfield. He played on the 1983-1984 State Championship team. In 1983 and 1984, Tuitt earned All-Conference team honors and All-State team honors in 1984. Additional awards include; Decker Award, athlete of the Year, MVP 1984 State Championship and Team Captain for 1982, 1983, and 1984.
