Mansfield University Athletic Hall of Fame
Riki Kimble was a four-year member of the football team playing under head coach Tom Elsasser from 1985-88. A linebacker, Kimble was named to All-PSAC East honors in 1988 when he led the conference in tackles with 133. He recorded 10 or more tackles in nine games that season including a career-best 20 stops against Millersville. Kimble amassed 225 tackles in his career and was noted for his ability to be around the ball recovering six fumbles, including a team-high four in 1987. He also recorded three interceptions and six sacks. His 133 tackles in 1988 tied the school record for tackles in a season and still ranks third most in school history. Kimble also ranks in the top ten in school history in career tackles.
