Mansfield University Athletic Hall of Fame
Dallas played football, basketball, and baseball at Mansfield from 1931 through 1935. He earned 9 letters – 4 of which were varsity football. He hit a shot at the buzzer from half court to defeat East Stroudsburg in basketball in 1932. He was the president of the “M” Club and a member of student council. Dallas was a teacher-coach for 37½ years in the Williamsport School System including Athletic Director at the High school for 7 years. He was a champion golfer in Williamsport – 3 times city champion, 3 times champion of the Williamsport Country Club. He played in several pro exhibitions and was head golf coach for 13 years.
