Mansfield University Athletic Hall of Fame
Michael Dunsmore was a three-year starter for the Mountaineer wrestling program at heavyweight after transferring from IUP in 1980. Dunsmore led the team in wins all three seasons at MU and was a NCAA Division qualifier from the East Region in 1981 and 1982. In 1983, he was named the MU’s Outstanding Wrestler. Dunsmore completed his career at Mansfield with career record of 46-16 finishing second at the 1981 and 1982 NCAA Division II east Regional earning trips to the NCAA Division II National Championship. Dunsmore also served as a student trainer for three years and is currently the head wrestling coach at Shippensburg University.
