Mansfield University Athletic Hall of Fame
Wasilewski was a three-sport athlete at Mansfield playing football, basketball and baseball. He earned six total letters in his collegiate career, two in each sport.
"Chet" holds the distinction of scoring 13 touchdowns in five games and was a member of the 1947 championship team playing quarterback and halfback.
In 1947, he was named to the AP All-Teachers College team and the AP Team and Coaches Award.
While at Mansfield, "Chet" was a member of Theta Chapter Phi, Sigma Pi Honor Fraternity, the M Club, and the campus Neuman Club. Wasilewski also served as president of the M club.
