Mansfield University Athletic Hall of Fame
A four-year starter, Robertson ended his career as the top hitter in Mansfield University and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference history. Robertson still ranks first in school history in games played (205), at-bats (737), runs (207), hits (284), home runs (43) and runs batted in (190). He is second in doubles (58) and third in triples (12). He batted .372 and never hit below .358 in a single season. His highest batting average came his senior year season at .421. At the competition of his career, Robertson ranked 1st in the PSAC in games, at-bats, runs, hit, rbi’s, home runs, and total bases. He was also seventh on the all-time NCAA Division II career history in hits, fourth in total bases and 10th in assists. A three-time First Team All-PSAC east selection, Robertson was also a three time All-ECAC and All-North Athletic Regional selection. He is the only player in Mountaineer history to be a three time All-American selection including twice at First Team – becoming just the third player in NCAA Division II history to do so. In his four seasons as a starter at Mansfield, Robertson helped the Mountaineers to three PSAC East titles, three PSAC Championships, three North Atlantic Regional Championships berths and an appearance in the NCAA Division II World Series.
