Mansfield University Athletic Hall of Fame
Barb Johnson was a four-year starter on the women’s volleyball team from 1980 through 1983. During that span, the volleyball team posted a 144-24 record and in 1983 won the first and only PSAC Championship for a women’s sport at MU. The PSAC MVP that season, Johnson was also the PSAC East MVP in 1982 and 1083 and was a three-time Al-PSAC east selection. She holds the MU season records for attempted serves and service aces while ranking second in spike kills. Johnson also holds the school career record for service aces (329) and ranks second in attempted serves (1,653) and spike kill (1,028).
