MANSFIELD, Pa. – Matt Machmer was named Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) Co-Defensive Player of the Week after his week three performance against Cornell the league announced on Monday, Oct. 5.

Machmer had two interceptions and six tackles for the Mountaineers in their 41-20 victory over Caldwell on Friday Oct. 2.

Machmer has four interceptions on the season, which matches what he had a year prior. It gives him eight in his career which is second in program history. 

Jerry Holmes Jr. was named to the CSFL Honor Roll after his record breaking 189 yards and two scores.
