MANSFIELD, Pa- Sophomore quarterback Joseph Frye has been named Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL) Offensive Player of the Week after his week one performance against Cornell the league announced on Monday, Sept. 21.

In his debut at quarterback, Frye was 8-13 for 196 yards and three touchdowns through the air. The three touchdown passes ties him fifth most in a game at Mansfield.

Frye added another 157 yards and a pair of touchdowns on the ground. It is the eighth most rushing yards in a game in Mansfield sprint football program history. His 68-yard touchdown rush is the sixth longest in program history.

Mansfield is back in action for the home opener on Saturday Sept. 26 when they host Molloy. The game will also serve as Mansfield's Homecoming Game.
