GENEVA, Ohio- The Mansfield University men's track and field team had solid showings in the Spire Collegiate Indoor Game on Saturday Feb. 11.
 
Sean Ringgold finished 21^st in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.51, Ibra Sheriff joined him finishing in 40^thin a time of 23.74.
 
Jackson Doughty and Terrance Quaker finished back-to-back 23^rd (51.13) and 24^th (51.25) in the 400-meter dash. Connor Bridwell finished 35^th in the event with a time of 52.30. 
 
In the 3K, Derek Simpson, Isaac Showers, and Baba Toure finished 24^th (9:18.04), 27^th (9:28.34) and 29^th(9:35.56) respectively.
 
Seth Neal finished the 800-meter run with a time of 2:02.33, which placed him 31^st. 
 
Aaron Thomas, Derrick Johnson and Michael Ho competed in the 60-meter dash finishing 35^th (7.36), 37^th (7.42) and 44^th (7.60) respectively. 
 
A Mountie 4x400-meter relay team consisting of Doughty, Bridwell, Sheriff, and Quaker finished seventh with a team time of 3:27.47. 
 
Competing up at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University was Christian Tanner and David Wootten in the 3K.
 
Tanner finished 38^th with a time of 8:35.95 and Wootten finished 58^th in 8:42.99. 
 
The Mountaineers are back in action Saturday, Feb. 18, as they travel back to Cornell University for the Deneault Invitational.
