LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Mansfield University men's track and field team had a solid showing on the second day of the Bison Opener, hosted by Bucknell University, on Saturday Jan. 28.

Christian Tanner placed second in the 800-meter run crossing the finish line in 1:57.76. He also finished 21
st in the mile with a time of 4:35.48.

Seth Neal finished third in the 1000-meter run with a time of 2:41.88; and was joined by
Baba Toure (7
th, 2:44.25)
Derek Simpson (16
th, 2:49.48), and
Isaac Showers (17
th, 2:50.03) as Mansfield finishers.Â

Sean Ringgold finished seventh in the 60-meter dash with a 7.10 in the finals. Ringgold had a time of 7.06 in the preliminary round. Ringgold was joined byÂ

Terrance Quaker finished 21

nd in the 400-meter dash with times of 53.20 and 53.22. Conner Bridwell finished 34
th with a time of 54.57.Â

Mansfield had two teams in the 4x400-meter relay. Doughty, Neal, Thomas, and Quaker teamed up to finish 10
th with a 3:35.81 time, while the team of Sofo, Sheriff, Johnson, and Bridwell finished 15
th with a time of 3:44.43.

Mansfield Track and Field is back in action on Saturday Feb. 4 as they travel to the Kane Invitational hosted by Cornell.Â
