LEWISBURG, Pa.-
Carly Daniels had a PSAC qualifying time in her third straight event to lead the Mansfield University track and field team on the first day of the Bison Opener, hosted by Bucknell, on Friday Jan. 27.

Daniels finished second in the 5K with a PSAC qualifying mark of 18:16.57. It is also the ninth fastest time in program history. She is now qualified in the 5K, 3K, and the mile run.

Sean Ringgold and
Skylar Brown each finished fifth in the men's and women's 200-meter dashes. Ringgold in 22.59 and Brown in 25.65.

The day opened with the distance medley relay. The men's team consisted of
Christian Tanner,
Terrance Quaker,
Seth Neal, and
David Wootten. They finished fourth with a time of 10:28.36.Â

The women's DMR team that consisted of
Carrie Claypool,
Kayla Crawford,
Anna Duncan, and
Bailey Morgan finished seventh with a time of 13:33.44.
