SHIPPENSBURG, Pa.- Freshman
Alyssa Parks finished eighth place in the heptathlon at the 2026 Outdoor Track and Field Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships, on Friday, May 1; hosted by Shippensburg University.
Parks finished with 4090 points in the event. It is the second highest score in program history.
Parks came into the day 11
th through the first four events. The first event of the day was the long jump her best mark was 4.54 meters earning 438.
In the javelin, Parks had the second best throw of the group hitting a 32.18 meter mark. She earned 518 points.
She was the second fastest 800-meter dash, clocking in at 2:27.69. She earned her final 722 points.
She also would compete in the 400-meter hurdles where she would finish 19
th in 1:08.79.
A quartet of
Amiyah Nguyen,
Wyoming Trudeaux,
Sandra Lemus, and
Samantha Newman finished 10
th in the 4x100-meter relay clocking in with a time of 49.77.
Trudeaux would finish 12
th in the preliminaries for the 400-meter run, crossing the line in 58.60.
Marissa Allen closed out the day finishing 14
th in the 3K steeplechase, with a time of 11:59.18.
Mansfield will compete on the final day of the PSAC Championships Saturday, May 2.
