BLOOMSBURG, Pa.- Freshman
Alyssa Parks broke the Mansfield 400-meter hurdle record to highlight the Mounties at Bloomsburg's Maroon and Gold Invitational, on Thursday, April, 23.
Parks clocked in at 1:04.62, which breaks the record set by Abbie Waltz in 2011. The time is also an automatic PSAC Championship qualifying time.
Amiyah Nguyen earned her first win on the season in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.77.
Sandra Lemus had a time of 13.09.
Wyoming Trudeaux took victory in the 200-meter dash with a season best time of 26.22. Nguyen finished second with a personal best 26.74. Lemus finished with a time of 28.27.
Marissa Allen ran a personal best 4:58.36 in the 1500-meter run,
Mayla Falank ran a personal best 5:25.15.
Madison Ziska hit a season best 4.96 meters in the long jump. She also hit a 10.52 meter jump in the triple jump.
Rebecca Knight threw a personal best 9.62 in the shot put. She also threw a mark of 24.83 meters in the discus.
Allyson Lewis and
Abigail Davies competed in the 5K and finished with times of 22:16.73 and 24:14.37.
In the relays, Mansfield had a 49.98 in the 4x100 meter relay and a 5:26.32 in the 4x400 meter relay.
