FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tressler Named PSAC East Player of the Week

MANSFIELD – Seth Tressler has been named PSAC East Player of the Week after leading Mansfield to a perfect 4-0 record in Florida with an incredible .632 batting average over that span.

Tressler has 12 hits in 19 at bats and a pair of walks in the last four games for a .667 on base percentage. The senior has recorded three doubles and a home run for a .947 slugging percentage. He has at least two hits, a run and an RBI in all four games in Florida.

Against Kentucky Wesleyan, Tressler went 4-for-5 at the plate with four RBIs, two runs and a stolen base. He was just a triple away from hitting for the cycle with a home run, a double and two singles. Tressler had three hits and three RBIs in wins against Ohio Valley and Hillsdale.

Tressler ranks fourth in the PSAC in stolen bases with 10 and seventh in RBIs with 15. He is batting .409 on the season in 44 at bats.

The Mountaineers are 9-2 on the season and have won their last eight games. Mansfield has scored 10 or more runs in its last five outings.
