Long drives in both runs and Pratt throws compete game in 2-1 win over Southern New Hampshire in extra innings

Danielle Long hit a solo home run in the sixth inning to tie the score and then delivered the game winning single to drive in the winning run in the eighth to lead Mansfield to a 2-1 win over Southern New Hampshire late Tuesday evening in Clermont, FL.
Kate Pratt went the distance to pick up her second win in two game scattering six hits while striking out seven and walking two.
Southern New Hampshire got on the board in the bottom of the first on a RBI single by Kelsea Cheney but Pratt would allow just three more hits over the course of the game throwing shutout ball the rest of the way. She struck out the game's final batter swing with the tying run at third.
Long's home run over the centerfield fence to lead off the sixth inning was the first in her college career.
Mansfield improves to 3-1 with the win and host Seton Hill and Winona State on Wednesday
