WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The Mansfield Mountaineers softball team received their first invite to Lamade Stadium in Williamsport, Pa. on Oct. 17-18 to participate in the Little League Girls with Game Experience. The Mounties will not only have an opportunity to play an exhibition on Sunday (Oct. 18), but will also be assisting youth athletes in their athletic development.

The event will feature instruction on how to field, hit, and throw while keeping direct focus on the mental side of the game. It will also feature a pitching and catching clinic and position specific training.

Sunday (Oct. 18) specifically will consist of pitching and catching clinics as well as position-specific development. Following the clinic, the Mountaineers will be featured in an exhibition game against Bucknell University.

The Mounties are excited to help young softball athletes find their footing and to get back onto the field this fall.
