MANSFIELD – Mansfield women's basketball head coach Amy Senefelder announced the newest addition to the program with the hiring of assistant coach Jeron Phillips Sr.

"We're very excited to welcome Jeron Phillips Sr. to the staff. Senefelder said. "His background of player development, recruiting and leadership will be a tremendous asset to our program."

Phillips joins the Mounties from the Bryn Mawr College women's basketball program where he served as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. During his time with the program, Phillips played an integral role in recruiting, player development, program organization, and building a culture centered on accountability, confidence, and team success.

Prior to joining Bryn Mawr, Phillips spent nine years at Providence Creek Academy in Delaware as the Head Boys Middle School Basketball Coach. Phillips has also served as an assistant coach at the AAU level in Delaware, gaining extensive experience in player development, recruiting, team building, and preparing athletes for the next level.

Phillips earned his bachelor's degree in integrated studies, with concentrations in Sociology and Finance, from Delaware State University.
