MANSFIELD, Pa. - Dale Jarvis '78 (Wrestling), Josh Wooten '06 (Cross Country/ Track and Field) Malory Moore 2008-12 (Women's Basketball) and the 1979 Baseball team will be inducted into the Mansfield Alumni-Athletic Hall of Fame as the Class of 2026 at the 44th celebration set for Friday Sept. 25.
The Induction ceremony will be held Friday Sept. 25 as part of Homecoming Weekend 2026.

"This year's Hall of Fame class exemplifies everything that makes Mansfield Athletics special. These inductees achieved excellence in competition, earned their degrees, and have gone on to make meaningful contributions in their professions and communities," said Director of Athletics
Andrew Petko. "Their accomplishments reflect not only individual and team success but also the lasting impact that athletics has on our campus. This class has left a legacy on Mounties Athletics, helping build the strong foundation on which we continue to grow."

Dale Jarvis '78 (Wrestling)
Dale Jarvis was a four-year starter and letterwinner for the Mountaineer wrestling team from 1975-78. Wrestling at 118 and 126 pounds, he served as team captain his junior and senior seasons.
One of the school's top wrestlers in the 1970s, Jarvis was a three-time NCAA Division III qualifier and posted 8-6 overall record at the National Championship tournament. He still ranks on the Mansfield career record list in several categories. Jarvis ranks eighth in career wins (57) and winning percentage (.655), fifth for fastest fall and 11th for most dual meet wins in a season (10-1-1, 1978).

Josh Wooten '06 (Cross Country/ Track and Field)
Josh Wooten was a four-year letterwinner on the men's indoor and outdoor track teams as well as cross country team.
He became the first Mansfield male runner to advance to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championship where he finished 14th overall in the steeplechase. Wooten held the men's steeplechase record for seven years until it was broken in 2011.
Wooten earned All-PSAC recognition in the steeplechase in 2003, 2004 and 2005 and earned All- PSAC honors in indoor track with a third-place finish in the 5K at the PSAC Championship.

Wooten was also a standout in cross country earning All-PSAC honors in 2003 and again in 2007. He earned All-Region honors with a 10th place finish at the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region becoming the first NCAA Division II Male All-Region runner in school history.
Wooten was named the cross-country MVP for the 2001,2002 and 2007 seasons. He was named the Mansfield outdoor track MVP in 2004 and was Male Spring Athlete of the Year the same year.Â

Mallory Moore 2008-2012 (Women's Basketball)
Only player in school history to record more than 1,500 career points, 800 rebounds and 200 steals.
Moore became just the second player in program history to play professionally overseas after signing a contract with first-division Lemving of the Danish Basketball League. (2011-12)
Moore led the team in scoring all four years of her career. She led the PSAC and ranked 17
th in the nation in scoring with 18.8 points per game her senior season. She is a two time All-PSAC athlete.
Moore ranks second in career scoring (1,547 points), third in career steals (257), and sixth in career rebounds (814) in program history. She holds the season record for made free-throws with 152. Â

1979 Baseball Team
The 1979 baseball team under the direction of head coach Dr. John Heaps was the first Mansfield baseball team to advance to the NCAA Division III World Series where the Mountaineers finished third.
Mansfield earned a berth in the NCAA Division III World Series in dramatic fashion after winning the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional when Jerry Keating scored on a Dave Mielnicki two-strike squeeze bunt in the bottom of the ninth inning to push the Mounties to a 4-3 victory over Wooster (Ohio) College in the Mideast Regional final.
The team finished the season with a 25-8 overall record.
