MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Mansfield Mountaineers men's track and field team competed on day one of the 43rd Millersville Metrics in Millersville, Pa, on April 3.
A dual threat of distance athletes in
Noah Shedden and
Greysen Kupsky competed in the 3k steeplechase. Shedden took victory the event in a time of 10:03.88. Kupsky finished third with a time of 11:14.42.
Derek Simpson competed in the 10k where he would finish fifth with a time of 37:38.69.
A duo of
Calvin Cragle and
Khyre Inman competed in the hammer throw. Cragle threw a mark of 41.12 meters to earn eighth place and a personal best mark. Inman hit a mark of 33.25 meters.
Rylan Ebner was the sole athlete for Mansfield in the 5k. He finished 14th with a season-best time of 17:29.74.
