SELINSGROVE, Pa. - The Mansfield University men's track and field team competed on March 27th & 28th, at the Jim Taylor Duals hosted by Susquehanna University, in Selinsgrove, Pa.
Marcus Quaker placed second with a mark of 56.52 meters in javelin and second in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 55.68. His hurdle time is a PSAC Qualifying time and puts him fifth in school history.Â
On Friday, Calvin Cragle finished third in shot put after a mark of 14.80 meters.
Rylan Ebner started the day for the Mounties finishing third as well in the 10,000 meter run with a final time of 35:39.18.
The Mounties finished fifth in the 4 x 100 meter relay with the group of Lovett Davenport, Dorrian McCargo, Pius Adomako Jr., and Jerry Holmes Jr. who placed fifth overall with a time of 44.14.
Holmes Jr. showed out in high jump placing fifth with a jump of 1.83 meters.
Ajani Gibson placed 11th in triple jump with 12.33 meters.Â
McCargo led in the 100 meter dash placing 12th with 11.31.
Ray Kasili finished in 12th with a mark of 6.22 meters which ties him for ninth best jump in program history.Â
Noah Shedden finished 13th in the 1500 meter where he recorded a time of 4:14.52.
To round out the day the quartet of Quaker, Holmes Jr., Gibson and Ibrahim Sheriff placed 13th in the 4 x 400 meter relay with 3:39.51.
Sheriff finished 21st in the 400 meter with a time of 53.42 with Gibson right behind at 55.63 (30th).
Nic Mattison took the lead for the Mounties in the 800 meter in 22nd place with a time 2:06.23.
Joshua Culver joined in triple jump where he placed 24th with a mark of 10.93 meters.
Shedden followed behind in the 800 meter at (25th - 2:07.27) along with Greysen Kupsky (45th - 2:17.85).
Mattison finished in 28th (4:29.36) and Kupsky 38th (4:49.27) in the 1500 meter as well.
Dominic Bill (14th - 6.17 meters), Connor Trimber (16th - meters), Joseph Frye (23rd - 5.91 meters) and Culver (34th - 5.18 meters) followed suit.Â
The duo of Cragle (37.09 meters) and Joey Biviano (33.68 meters) finished 21st and 33rd in discus.
On Friday as well, Biviano finished 38th in hammer at 29.72 and Khyre Inman finished at 40th with 27.93.
Adomako Jr.(20th - 11.44), Bill (26th - 11.62), Davenport (30th - 11.70), Frye (34th - 11.85), Kasili (38th - 11.95), Culver (47th - 12.43) and David Martinez (49th - 12.61) joined in the 100 meter as well.Â
Trimber competed in javelin once again throwing 27.60 meters.
