COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -Â
Jenna Duke's first weekend of the No. 9 Mansfield Mountaineer field hockey team's 2025 season proved worthy to be named the first National Field Hockey Coaches Association's (NFHCA) National Offensive Player of the Week, announced on Wednesday (Sept. 10) morning.
After collecting her first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Athlete of the Week award after the opening weekend of the season, the reigning PSAC Freshmen of the Year lost no steam in the offseason, scoring five times at the Dr. Art DeGenaro Classic as the Mounties posted 15 goals in their first two games.Â
To start her sophomore season, Duke also added an assist to her 11-point performance against the two opponents, while landing 16 of her 20 shots on goal through the weekend.Â
Both games serve as her now fourth and fifth multi-goal game in the red and black, and she logged her second career hat trick against Southern Connecticut State.
