WINDSOR, Colo. - Mansfield Mountaineers standout pitcher
Eric Gustofson reached new heights as the Easton, Pa. native signed a professional contract with the Northern Colorado Owlz of the Pioneer Baseball League.

Gustofson is the 61
st Mountaineer to ink a professional contract, becoming the first since the 2022 season.

In the 2024 showing, Gustofson threw 55.2 innings and had 85 strikeouts, which is fifth all time in a single season at Mansfield. Gusofson tossed three complete games, including his career high of 15 strikeouts in his complete game win over Shepherd on March 22.
His strikeouts tied him for third in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) and his complete games tied him for ninth.

He finished his career eighth in program history in both strikeouts (208) and innings pitched (202.2).

The Owlz have been a member of the Pioneer Baseball League since 2022, after relocating to Winsor from the Orem Owlz after 2020.
