MANSFIELD, Pa. – Fresh off the first 20-win season in over five years, the Mansfield University baseball team are set to kick off the 2023 campaign with three spring training trips before returning north to begin Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) action.

Under fourth-year head coach
Andrew Chalot, the Mounties will kick off the season in Glenville, W.V. with a three-game non-conference series against Glenville State College on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 18-19.

The Mounties will follow with their annual spring training trip to Cary, N.C., where they will compete in non-conference games against Goldey-Beacom College and Dominican University of New York on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 24-25.

The Mounties final chance to prepare for conference play will be on Saturday and Sunday, March 4-5 when they travel to Petersburg, Va. for a four-game non-conference slate against Virginia State University.

The remaining non-conference schedule, which will be played on weekdays throughout the season, features Gannon University, Slippery Rock University, Salem University, D'Youville College, and The College of Saint Rose.

The Mounties, who finished 22-25 overall and 11-13 in the PSAC East in 2022, were slated to finish seventh in the PSAC East Preseason Coaches' Poll.
