MANSFIELD – Mansfield men's basketball will wrap up the 2018-19 season on Wednesday when the Mountaineers travel to Bloomsburg for PSAC East play.
 
The men will play the first game of the doubleheader on Tuesday with tip-off slated for 5:30 p.m.
 
Mansfield will look to earn a season sweep over the Huskies after earning an 88-80 victory at First Citizens Community Bank Court at Decker Gymnasium in late January. Tyler Moffe poured in a career-high 31 points to lead five Mounties in double-figure scoring.  Mansfield shot a red-hot 58.6% from the floor including 48.4% (15-31) from distance.
 
The Mansfield-Bloomsburg series is tied 63-63 dating back to 1957 with the Mounties winning two of the last three meetings. The Mountaineers also came out on top last season in a 92-85 final at Nelson Fieldhouse. Bloomsburg holds a 36-26 series lead at home.
 
Moffe is averaging 16.5 points a game overall this season, but has done even better against conference opponents, averaging 18.2 points a game against the PSAC. Taylor Sweeney has been the Mounties' iron man this year, leading the conference in minutes played at 38.0 a game. Garrett Cook continues to rank amongst conference leaders in shooting from beyond the arc, connecting on 43.6% of chances (2^nd PSAC).
 
The Mountaineers continue to lead the conference in 3-point shooting, averaging 9.6 made trifectas per game.
 
Ky Mauras leads the Huskies in scoring at 18.3 points a game followed by Travis Elmore (15.2 ppg) and Sekou Fofana (11.6 ppg).
 
Bloomsburg enters Wednesday's game with a 6-18 overall record and a 2-16 conference mark. The Huskies have lost their last 12 games against conference opponents.
