Box Score MANSFIELD – Shippensburg's Antonio Kellem knocked down the game-winning 3-pointer in the final seconds of overtime to deal Mansfield another heartbreaker in a 74-72 loss Saturday afternoon at First Citizens Community Bank Court at Decker Gymnasium.

Mansfield held a 62-60 lead in the final seconds of regulation before Jake Bliss forced overtime with a made lay-up in traffic as time expired.

The Mountaineers scored the first six points of the game before Shippensburg responded with a trifecta and a free throw to pull within two. The Raiders cut the lead down to two points three more times in the half, but could never tie or gain the lead.

Mansfield led 18-16 before outscoring the Raiders 12-5 over the final seven minutes of the half to take a 30-21 advantage into the break.

Shippensburg recorded a 7-2 run in the opening two minutes of the second half, but
Tyler Moffe and
Taylor Sweeney knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers to give the Mounties their biggest lead of the game at 38-28. Mansfield maintained a quality lead until the Raiders pulled within four points on a Bliss trifecta at the 13:19 mark.

The Mountaineers held at least a two-possession advantage for much of the half until Bliss brought Shippensburg within two points with under three minutes remaining in regulation. Later, a pair of Moffe free throws put Mansfield up four points with under a minute to play. However, Bliss scored back-to-back lay-ups on the next two Shippensburg possessions to force overtime.

The Raiders scored the first four points in overtime, but
Eli Alvin knocked down a pair of free throws and Sweeney added a bucket to even the game again.

The score was tied at 68-68 with under a minute to play in overtime when Kellem converted an old-fashioned 3-point play. Moffe hit a lay-up with 21 seconds to play and hit a pair of free throws to give Mansfield a 72-71 lead with 15 seconds remaining.

Kellem spoiled the Mountaineers' Senior Day by hitting the game-winning 3-pointer at the other end of the court.

Moffe scored a team-high 20 points while adding seven rebounds and four assists. Alvin posted 16 points with nine boards and Cook 12 points. Nysir Marsburn added 10 points and Sweeney nine.

Bliss and Kellem combined for 43 points with John Castello recording a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds.

Shippensburg held a 53-38 advantage on the boards.
