MANSFIELD – Mountaineer men's basketball opens a five game home stand on Saturday, Jan. 26 when Mansfield hosts PSAC East foe Bloomsburg at First Citizens Community Bank Court at Decker Gymnasium.

Bloomsburg is 5-11 overall with a PSAC record of 2-8, earning wins over Lock Haven and Gannon. The Huskies are 10
th in the PSAC in scoring offense, averaging 73.8 points a game, but rank last in defense allowing 86.1 points to opponents.

Ky Mauras leads the Huskies in scoring, averaging 18.3 points a game with Travis Elmore putting up 14.3 points and 7.6 points an outing. Sam Saxton is just outside of averaging double figures with 9.8 points a game.

Tyler Moffe leads three active Mounties in double figure scoring with 16.7 points a game followed by
Taylor Sweeney (14.2 ppg) and
Garrett Cook (10.6 ppg). Cook (45.3%) and Sweeney (39.3%) rank amongst the conference leaders in 3-point field goal shooting with Sweeney 18
th in the PSAC in overall field goal pct. at 47.8%. Sweeney leads the PSAC in minutes played, averaging 37.6 a game.

Saturday's game begins a five-game residency at Decker Gymnasium for the Mountaineers with a non-conference contest against Frostburg State on Tuesday.
