Former Mansfield Assistant Coach Andy Greer Joins NBA's Toronto Raptors Coaching Staff

MANSFIELD – The Toronto Raptors announced they have hired former Mansfield University assistant Andy Greer to serve on head coach Dwane Casey's staff for the upcoming season.

Greer served as a graduate assistant for the Mountaineers during the 1985-86 and 1986-87 season's while earning his master's degree in education. The 1986-87 campaign was the final season in the career of legendary head coach Ed Wilson.

Greer is a veteran in the NBA coaching ranks, spending the last five seasons with the Chicago Bulls and helping the club post a 255-139 record over that span. He also coached with the Memphis Grizzlies (2007-09), Houston Rockets (2003-07) and New York Knicks (2001-03).
