MANSFIELD – The Mansfield University women's and men's basketball teams will both be facing crucial test Saturday afternoon when they host the Wolves of Cheyney University in a PSAC East doubleheader.
Tip-off for the women's game is set for 1 p.m. on First Citizens Community Bank Court at Decker Gymnasium with the men's game set to follow at 3 p.m.
The game will be broadcast live by Mike Baggerman of ESPN Radio Williamsport and be streamed, along with live stats, at GoMounties.com.
Mansfield University senior standout
Jena Matter will be honored prior to the start of the women's game with the presentation of her 1,000th point ball. Matter become the 15th player in program history to reach the 1000 point milestone when she scored 17 points at Kutztown Thursday evening. She now has 1004 points in her career.
Prior to the start of the men's game
Joe Bell will also receive his 1,000th point ball. The junior forward scored his 1,000 point earlier in the season against West Chester.
