FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Mountaineer Softball adds Mid-South Classic to Schedule

MANSFIELD – Head coach Edith Gallagher and the Mansfield University softball team have announced the addition of the Mid-South Classic in Spartanburg, S.C. to the Mountaineer's 2013 schedule.

The addition of the four-game classic comes after the cancelation of the Catawba Softball Tournament due to poor field conditions in Salisbury, N.C last weekend.

The Mountaineers will open with Anderson University (S.C.) on Friday, March 1 before taking on Lander University and No. 25 Columbus State University the following day. Mansfield will close the Mid-South Classic by playing Brevard College on Sunday morning.
