LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Mansfield Mountaineers Softball team fell in two road games to Lock Haven, Wednesday March 25, by scores of 8-0 and 4-1.
Alex Reisinger hit her first home run of the season in game two.
GAME ONE- Lock Haven 8 – Mansfield 0 (5 innings)
Mansfield was no hit in the game, striking out 10 times in the game.
Britni Motter kept the game close until the fourth inning where the Bald Eagles would plate seven runs and earn the victory 8-0.
GAME TWO- Lock Haven 4 Mansfield 1
Reisinger breathed new life into the Mountaineers with her homerun.
Bre Lock had a solid day pitching in relief tossing three scoreless innings and only giving up a single hit.
Reisinger's homerun in the second inning gave Mansfield a 1-0 lead. The Bald Eagles broke through in the third inning plating three runs to go up 3-1.
They would add an insurance run in the fourth inning to go up 4-1.
