Joe Bell scored a game-high 25 points and
Kevonte McClain added 16 points for Mansfield but Abin Reeves scored six of his 12 points in overtime to lead Slippery Rock to a 78-72 win over Mansfield in a PSAC crossover game at Decker Gymnasium Saturday afternoon.
Mansfield, which led by as many as eight points late in the first half, never trailed in the game until Chaquille Pratt's 3-pointer with just over five minutes remaining in regulation gave Slippery Rock its first lead of the day at 58-57.

Josh Dupuy hit two free throws to tie the game with just under a minute to go in regulation. Slippery Rock missed two shots before the Mountaineers
Chuck Harper, who won yesterday's game against Mercyhurst with a 3-pointer at the buzzer, just missed getting off a half-court shot before time expired.
Slippery Rock (5-3, 3-3 PSAC) scored the first four points of overtime before
Joe Bell drilled a 3-pointer to pull Mansfield to 66-65.
But Slippery Rock would go on a 6-0 run to take a 72-65 lead with 1:34 remaining before Mansfield cut the score to 74-70 on a layup by Harper. Slippery Rock answered with a two points of its own and Dupuy layup cut the margin to four points again with seven seconds left but Mansfield could pull no closer.
Slippery Rock shot 64% (7-11) in overtime while Mansfield only managed to hit 3-of-9 shots (33%).
Joe Bell, who has led the Mountaineers in scoring in each of the last four games, continued his impressive play scoring a game and season-high 25 points. Sophomore
Kevonte McClain scored a career-best 16 points and also recorded his first collegiate double-double with 11 rebounds. Harper added a double-double of his own with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Jon Valeriano led four Slippery Rock players in double figures with 23 points. Tabari Perry scored 11 points off the bench while Chaquille Pratt had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Slippery Rock outscored Mansfield 23-6 off the bench.
Mansfield falls to 3-4 overall and 2-4 in the PSAC. The Mountaineers are off next week for finals before wrapping 2011 by hosting Central Penn on Dec. 19.
