SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Mansfield University women's track and field team competed on March 27 & 28th, at the Jim Taylor Duals hosted by Susquehanna University, in Selinsgrove, Pa.
A herd of Amiyah Nguyen, Wyoming Trudeaux, Alyssa Parks and Samantha Newman took first in the 4 x 100 meter relay at 50.23.
Trudeaux took third in the 400 meter with 59.72, which places her fifth in school history.
Parks took on the 400 meter hurdles placing third in the meet with 1:06.91. As well as the 100 meter hurdles finishing 15th at 17.82.
The second relay of the day was the 4 x 400 meter relay of Newman, Parks, Nguyen and Trudeaux that placed third with 4:28.68.
Newman finished fifth in triple jump with a mark of 10.29 meters.
Marissa Allen finished seventh in the 5,000 meter with a personal best of 19:08.35 and took 10th (5:11.59) in the 1500 meter.
Parks ended high jump with a best mark of 1.38 meters placing her 11th in the final results.
Makayla Robicheaux crossed the line in the 400 meter at 1:09.80 for 15th place.
Trudeaux (26.93 - 15th) and Newman (28.05 - 16th) finished back to back in the 200 meter.
In the 100 meter dash, Nguyen (13.43) and Sandra Lemus (13.31) finished back to back in 20th and 21st place.
A quartet of Trudeaux (fifth - 26.24), Newman (17th - 27.01), Nguyen (23rd - 27.72), Robicheaux (36th - 29.50) competed in the 200 meter.
Yesterday, Rebecca Knight competed in shot put collecting 28th (8.75 meters).
Knight attempted discus placing 30th with 20.56 meters.
Abigail Davies made an appearance in the 800 meter finishing 36th with a time of 2:50.22.
