ITHACA, N.Y. – The Mansfield University women's track and field team competed on February 21st, at the Marc Deneault Invitational hosted by Cornell University, in Ithaca, N.Y.
A quartet of Alyssa Parks, Samantha Newman, Wyoming Trudeaux and Marissa Allen competed in the Distance Medley Relay taking first place, for the second week in a row with a time of 13:27.50.
Minyhah Easterling finished 10th overall in shot put with a mark of 11.72 meters.
Newman finished 17th overall in the 60m leading the Mounties with a personal best of 8.22.
Mayla Falank collected a new best in the mile with 5:55.26.
Trudeaux finished in 21st in the 200 meter with a time of 27.14, while Makayla Robicheaux finished with 29.68.
Brown took on the 200 meter recorded a time of 31.30 in the 200 meter.
Newman had a best mark of 10.02 meters in triple jump for the day.
