SELINSGROVE, Pa.– The Mansfield University women's track and field team competed on February 14th, at the SU Valentine's Invite hosted by Susquehanna University, in Selinsgrove Pa.
A quartet of Alyssa Parks, Samantha Newman, Wyoming Trudeaux and Marissa Allen competed in the Distance Medley Relay taking first place with a time of 13:34.79.
Minyhah Easterling finished third overall in shot put with a mark of 11.59 meters, where Zalayna Brown collected a new personal best of 10.52 meters for ninth place.
Newman finished sixth overall in the 60m leading the Mounties with a personal best of 8.16. Sandra Lemus (8.56) and Makayla Robicheaux (8.73) followed.
Allen competed in the 3,000 meter with a top finish of eighth place at 11:33.73.
The second relay of the day consisted of Newman, Parks, Abigail Davies and Trudeaux in the 4 x 400 meter relay where they placed eighth with 4:3483.
Mayla Falank collected a new best in the mile with 6:04.04.
Trudeaux finished in 11th in the 400 meter with a time of 1:04.65.
The duo of Falank (2:45.55) and Davies (2:57.20) finished back to back in the 800 meter.
Brown took on the 200 meter recorded a time of 31.30 in the 200 meter.
Parks had a best mark of 4.07 meters in long jump for the day.
