EDINBORO, Pa. – The Mansfield University men's basketball team competed in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action on Friday January 2 against Edinboro University, with the Fighting Scots taking the win 92-68.

Sterling Scott led Mansfield with a double-double, finishing with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Josh Franklin added 12 points to the scoreboard.

Mansfield opened the game with early baskets from Franklin and Scott, holding the lead in the opening half before trailing 38–31 into the break. 

The Mounties stayed within reach early in the second half as Scott, Franklin, and Jackson Henry continued to score.

Diarmid Stewart provided a spark off the bench with strong play, while Karson Dominick added a late put back. 

The Fighting Scots pulled away with ten minutes left of play to secure a 92–68 win.
