SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Mansfield University women's track and field team competed on January 17 at the River Hawk Invite hosted by Susquehanna UniversityÂ
Minyhah Easterling and Olivia Meisner finished fourth and sixth in shot out with bests of 11.43m and 11.20m. This placed Easterling at four and Meisner at sixth in school history.
Easterling, Meisner and Blaze Wood all participated in weight throw finishing 10.59m (seventh in history) 9.43m (tenth in history) and 7.61m.
Alyssa Parks ended high jumped with a height of 1.38m.
Samantha Newman placed fourth in triple jump with 10.30m.
Parks also finished eighth in the 60-meter hurdles with 10.70 (ninth in history), followed by Imariana Leuci at 11.12 (tenth in history).
Newman finished fifth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.28. Sandra Lemus (8.66), Leuci (8.73), and Makayla Robicheaux (8.95) competed as well.
Madison Ziska led the Mounties in the 200-meter finishing eighth at 28.38. Lemus finished at 30.25 and Robicheaux with 30.47.
Zalayna Brown debuted for the first time since last indoor season in the 400-meter placing eighth at 1:13.64.
Marissa Allen picked up seventh place in the 800-meter at 2:41.19. Teammates Mayla Falank (2:53.41) and Abigail Davies (2:55.95) finished back to back.
A quartet of Allen, Ziska, Davies and Falank finished first in the distance medley relay with 14:57.19.Â
Mansfield rounded out the day in the 4x400-meter relay with a team of Allen, Parks, Brown and Ziska placing third at 4:39.46.
