BROCKPORT, N.Y. - The Mansfield Mountaineers Men's track and field team stockpile multiple top ten finishes in the Brockport Multi & Invitational, hosted by SUNY Brockport on Saturday (Feb. 8).
Marcus Quaker debuted in the Heptathlon placing seventh and collecting a total of 4,386 points for the Mounties, breaking another school record in his first year on the team.Â
He placed first in high jump with a mark of 1.82 meters, shot put with 11.30 meters and the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.66.Â
Quaker added a second-place finish in the 60-meter dash (7.15), 10
th in long jump (6.03), fourth in the 1,000-meters (2:56.51) and 13
th in pole vault (2.45m) to his series.
Jon McDannell competed in the 60-meter hurdles taking fifth overall with a time of 9.06.Â
McDannell also ran the 200-meters with 25.40 for 55
th place.

Jackson Doughty competed in the 400-meter placing third with a personal best of 51.17, Sheriff also had a personal best of 54.71 that placed him at 20
th and
Greysen Kupsky placed 36
th with a time of 1:02.27.
Noah Shedden finished fourth in the 5,000 meters with a personal record of 16:12.28 while teammate
Derek Simpson came in at 12
th with 17:28.02.
Nathaniel Welch took on the 800-meter placing 22
nd with a time of 2:04.72.
Kupsky took part in the 600-meter additionally taking 10
th with 1:44.62.
The team of McDannell,
Seth Neal, Welch and Sheriff ran the 4 x 400-meter relay taking 10
th with a time of 3:42.03 to round out the track events.
In the field, Holmes and Adomako set out for high jump placing them (7
th – 1.81m) and (9
th – 1.76).
Culver participated in long jump taking 29
th with a mark of 5.50 meters.
