HOUGHTON, N.Y. - The Mansfield Mountaineers men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Houghton Last Chance Qualifier, where both teams shared five top five finishes.
Madison Ziska competed in the women's long jump earning a second place finish with a jump of 4.90 meters.Â
Marissa Allen raced in the 800 meter run, placing third with a time of 2:30.66. Allen also competed in the high jump, placing second with a height of 1.40 meters.
Carrie Claypool started off the day in the women's mile, running a time of 5:39.36Â earning her a third place finish.Â
Jon McDannell competed in the 60 meter hurdles, earning a third place finish with a time of 9.89.
Sandra Lemus competed in two events starting her day out in the 60 meter dash with a personal best of 8.62. She then ran the 200 meter dash and placed 12th with a time of 30.25.
Joshua Culver participated in the men's long jump where he earned a personal best on a jump of 5.61 meters.
Michael Beals made his debut in the men's weight throw, getting a mark of 4.20 meters.

Qualified individuals will compete at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Indoor Conference Championship meet at Lehigh University in Bethlehem Pa. from March 1-2.
