MANSFIELD, Pa. – The Mansfield University men's basketball team competed in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action on Saturday, December 20, against Seton Hill with the Griffins pulling away 89-61.
LaQuan Byrd led the Mountaineers with 17 points, including four three-pointer.
Juju Pagan added 11 points.
Seton Hill (9-3, 3-1 PSAC) established an early advantage, shooting efficiently in the first half and building a 46–31 lead at the break.Â
Mansfield (1-8, 0-3 PSAC) kept pace offensively early, highlighted by strong perimeter shooting in the opening half.Â
The Griffins maintained control in the second half, continuing to score consistently in the paint and on the break.Â
Despite continued effort, Mansfield was unable to close the gap as the Griffins' balanced scoring proved a final score of 89-61.
