ITHACA, N.Y. - The Mansfield University women's track and field team competed in the Robert J. Kane Invitational, hosted by Cornell University on Saturday, Feb.4.

Abigail Taylor finished second in the triple jump hitting her best mark of 11.11 meters on her second jump.

Carly Daniels, Bailey Morgan, Carrie Claypool and Shelby Alexander competed in the 800-meter run finishing in seventh (2:29.01), eighth (2:31.80), 11^th (2:35.23), and 16^th (2:39.86) respectively.

Anna Duncan finished seventh in the 600-meter run with a time of 1:50.29. She was joined by Anisa Lytle who finished 11^th with a time of 2:09.03.

In the 300-meter dash Kayla Crawford and Jakayla Holmes finished 14^th and 16^th with times of 45.33 and 47.89 seconds. Madison Ziska finished 15th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.54.

A Mountie 4x400-meter relay team that consisted of Daniels, Claypool, Morgan, and Duncan finished in 11^th with a time of 4:41.92.

The Mounties are back in action on Saturday, Feb. 11, as they travel to Geneva, Ohio for the Spire Indoor Games.
