LEWISBURG, Pa.- The Mansfield men's distance medley relay team (DMR) took fifth place and
Sean Ringgold reset his 60-meter dash record to highlight Mansfield men's track and field on the first day of the PSAC Indoor Championships on Saturday, Feb. 25.
The DMR team consisted of
Christian Tanner,
Terrance Quaker,
Seth Neal, and
David Wootten combined for a time of 10:18.54 to finish fifth. Mansfield led after the first two legs.
Ringgold improved his record and ran a 6.94 60-meter dash which sits him at fourth for tomorrows finals. He just missed out on the 200-meter dash final finishing ninth with a time of 22.53.
In the 400-meter dash,
Jackson Doughty and Quaker finished 12th and 13
th, with times of 51.96 and 52.19 respectively.
Athletes that qualify for the NCAA DII Track & Field Championships will travel to Virginia Beach, Va. on Friday, March 10. Mansfield will begin the outdoor season on Saturday, March 25, as they travel to Selinsgrove, Pa. to compete in the Jim Taylor Invitational.
